Just Write is a text editor that aims to streamline the writing process. It has been carefully designed to include only the essential features needed for writing.

The editor supports both RTF (rich text format) and TXT (plain text format), making it compatible with virtually any platform. RTF, which is a WYSIWYG format, is best suited for creating longer stories. On the other hand, TXT, with its support for Markdown styles, is perfect for taking notes, creating outlines, and managing to-do lists.

One of the standout features of Just Write is its iCloud support, which allows you to sync your RTF and TXT files across all your devices.

The RTF editing features include options to increase or decrease font size, select text color, and apply text styles such as bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough. Additionally, you can align your text left, right, center, or justified. The editor also provides undo and redo functionalities, allows you to move the cursor with an arrow, and offers a selection tool for paragraph, sentence, and word selection (available on iPad).

When it comes to editing TXT files, Just Write offers an accessory row with various characters necessary for writing in Markdown. You can choose from multiple fonts and preview your Markdown content in a left menu. The editor also provides three themes: Light, Dark, and Sepia. Moreover, it supports plain text format extensions such as txt, text, md, mmd, markdown, markdn, mdown, mkdn, markd, and fountain. Like the RTF editor mode, the TXT mode also includes a selection tool for easy paragraph, sentence, and word selection (available on iPad).
